I love his entire presence in the story, and though I am left with a million and one questions about his past and how it relates to the lives of the Maresh family, it is easily one of the things that I am most excited about tying up in A Conjuring of Light. Schwab crafts scenes with both description and tension, firmly cementing her as one of my favourite fantasy authors.
