About this deal

In 2010, The Octonauts was adapted into a 52-episode CGI animated television series co-produced by Chorion and Brown Bag Films. It first aired in the UK on 4 October 2010 on CBeebies, a BBC television channel for children under 7. The first series ended in February 2011 but continued to be aired as repeats. A second series of 22 episodes commenced in November 2012. In The Damselfish episode, Peso drives the Gup for the first time and calls it a "Getaway Gup." He feels nervous at first, but soon finds that driving it is pretty fun. The initial working title of the 2017 American Superhero film " Thor: Ragnarok" was "Creature Report", a reference to the Octonauts, [46] [47] which acted as the movie production's code word. Each episode of The Octonauts takes the team on a new mission to different underwater locations, where they encounter various marine creatures facing challenges or needing help. Using their specialized equipment and the Octopod, their excellent underwater base, the Octonauts embark on exciting rescue missions and conservation efforts.

In The Spinner Dolphins, it is revealed that the crab's legs can make the gup walk underwater as well as on land. A baby alligator named Nipper stows away on the Gup K. Now the Octonauts must rescue him after he and Kwazii are swept out to sea. Captain Barnacles allows Tunip to use his Octo-compass. But when Tunip loses it, a cuttlefish takes it. An enormous Australian saltwater crocodile is lost in the Antarctic Ocean and the Octonauts must bring him home without anyone getting hurt.
