About this deal

So this way when they come in to make their last payments, the cashier tells them that the gifts have already been paid for and hands them their items. Andy’s humor and the overall tone make this a light read, but beneath the surface we’re given much to consider. Regular readers will find the whole familiar gang Andy Carpenter, wife Laurie, son Ricky, and of course dogs Tara and Sebastian, all anticipating the upcoming holiday/football season. In my recollection, there has never been a bad book featuring Andy Carpenter and his assorted team of assistants. Laurie, Andy's wife, is the type of person one aspires to be; kind, generous, compassionate toward people.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It's uplifting, fun, engaging, and full of animals and characters who are well written and believable. I think I would have enjoyed the story more or gotten sucked into the action faster had I already been familiar with the series. But not until thirty-six hours after that was Kristen found near Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. It's about a wealthy young investigative lawyer who professes a desire to retire, but his wife keeps finding him cases to take on.Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. The obvious theory was that she had fought hard to protect herself and scratched her killer, since traces of skin were under her fingernails. This is definitely a great addition to the series - as always Andy's humorous narration combines nicely with a twisting plot that holds some genuine surprises. Every few years the Paterson Police ran it through the system, hoping for a match, but they were always disappointed. There are interludes of Andy at home with his family and friends, yet they avoid the over-sentimentality such interaction can bring about.

With his trademark humor and larger-than-life characters – including a police officer and his K-9 partner, Simon – Rosenfelt never fails to deliver as Andy and his eccentric crew dash to reunite a family in time for Christmas.

I recently listened to Deck The Hounds and the beginning of this book was so similar, I started thinking I had somehow already read it. This is only my second novel by David Rosenfelt and I enjoyed it even more than the last and can’t wait to read more books in this series! This is an absorbing detective story with a challenging client, and complicated adversaries, however, when the chips are down, Carpenter rises to the occasion with excellent intuition, focused investigative skills, and brilliant (in his opinion) legal tactics to save the day for all.

Framed prints are professionally framed in a charcoal, fawn, limed, nude, oak, stone, taupe or white wooden frame to complement the artwork. This sausage dog card has been printed onto FSC-certified board that is made in a paper mill in the Lake District and come with an envelope made from FSC certified paper. And despite the seasonal title, it isn't really all that Christmassy (so don't worry if you can't wait until December to pick this one up! The series as a whole is consistently well written and entertaining, so I recommend picking up the others as you find them. Text reads ‘Dachsh-ing Through The Snow – Happy Christmas’ and is blank inside for your own message. Can Andy Carpenter and his family/friends solve the case and bring this family back together for the holiday?
