About this deal

You can darken an existing colour, brighten or change its hue, simply by layering up one colour over another. The powder can be shaken directly from the container onto damp paper, mixed with water and brushed on, sprayed or misted. These ready to use spray inks work really well with stencils especially for creative journaling and card making, hours of fun experimenting with Brusho techniques. Brusho Crystal Colour is a unique, transparent, highly pigmented water colour ink powder available in a comprehensive range of 32 brilliant colours.

p>Brusho Crystal Colours are intense powder paints that are water-based, non-toxic, and easy to use. Brusho is unique in the sense that many of the effects you can achieve by using it cannot be replicated with any other media!

The colours are a transparent, highly-pigmented watercolour ink that comes packed in small drums which contain the dry, crystalline powder. Joanne Thomas is perhaps the only art tutor in the world that teaches budding artists to create expressive, contemporary watercolours with Brusho. Thanks for the great review and especially for satisfying my curiosity about “needing” another item to add to all the other things I think I need to own. In addition to those lovely composite colours there are also many gloriously bold solid colours (like lemon and turquoise).

You will be able to produce a endless hues, tints and shades either by mixing, diluting or otherwise altering the concentration of the paint. When used as a painting medium on watercolour paper, it is advised that a high quality UV protective spray is used to prevent damage from, dust, dirt, humidity, ultraviolet radiation, smoke, scuffs and scratches. Below is a list of the extensive range of vibrant colours which are fully intermixable with each other. Here are my best answers and everything a new painter needs to know about the kind of watercolour paint that comes in tubes and pans. In some cases, I think they are easier to achieve with Brusho Crystal Colours than with traditional watercolors.

I keep a toothpick in my Brusho box to open up the hole if it becomes blocked, but I have seen push pins being used as a sort of permanent topper. Please note, due to the nature of the pigment powder, colours may appear different in their raw state - for example Leaf Green will appear Yellow. As you become more confident investigating techniques you can add your own props and tools to the list. Blue, Ultramarine, Prussian Blue, Turquoise, Leaf Green, Emerald Green, Sea Green, Violet, Purple, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Grey, Black and White.
