About this deal

Fleas and ticks tend to be less of a problem during the colder months from November, at which point you can give them a break from using Billy No Mates.

The aroma of the herbs is hated by fleas, especially that of neem leaf which is known around the world as nature’s pesticide. We have had very bad experiences with certain vet prescriptions, this dog had a monthly tablet beginning with an S, and she scratched violently every month for 3 to 4 days after taking it. We use the tincture for easy mixing into food (we use other supplements which are powdered) and it is just perfect! The scoop (available separately) is 5ml so usually the smaller pot should last the average medium/large dog about 3 months.

Our previous golden had a very nasty reaction to a spot on treatment beginning with a V, and was on steroids for 2 weeks, then I found a lump on her neck and it was a mast cell tumour. For small pets, the 50ml bottle contains a calibrated pipette which is perfect for dispensing a small volume. Review: I absolutely love Billy No Mates for my dog - since moving to natural flea/tick/worm prevention this is a daily supplement we use! You do have to give the drops all year round to keep the effectiveness but, if there is a particularly virulent flea infestation, you may need to top up the treatment with another product to stop the dreadful cycle of itching and scratching and eggs.

If you suspect your dog has fleas before starting BNM, please consider using our Skinny Dip Shampoo. We recommend feeding Billy No Mates daily from the start of February/beginning of March as it takes about 4-6 weeks to fully enter the animal's system. The aromatic combination of mint, seaweed, fenugreek, neem leaves and lemon balm should be simply sprinkled over your dog or cat's food and as well as repelling 'boarders' it is great for skin and coat condition. Long expiry dates too, which is good as I tend not to give over winter months, which means any remaining can be used the next year! As a rough guide a 325g pouch would last a labrador sized dog, having 2 scoops per day, approximately 3 months. This tincture of mint, seaweed, fenugreek, neem leaves and lemon balm should be simply be added to your dog - or cat's food or drink.

We moved house to a less rural area in Sept 2021 due to retirement/ health reasons and as the Flyball stopped, we decided we didn’t need to use Billy No Mates. Please note that Billy No Mates contains some seaweed, so please be mindful of what other sources of seaweed is in your pets diet, such as from other supplements. The aromatic combination of mint, seaweed, fenugreek, neem leaves and lemon balm should be simply sprinkled over your dog - or cat's food.

Please note that we recommend you allow up to 6 weeks for this totally natural product to become totally effective so we would usually recommend starting in early March – although it can be used all year round.
