About this deal

i came back from india and started to crave for this scent and could not find a bottle in my local market. Smelling vintage Armani Eau Pour Homme also lends insight into why Armani would desire Acqua di Giò pour Homme (1996) to be so citrus-charged (and distinctly not blue) for an aquatic, showing some continuity. I first smelled it in 1985 when I bought a bottle of Ralph Lauren's Monogram which had just come out. The citrus in the top notes is quite well done with prominent lemon and basil, and a mild spiciness.

In drying down, the warmness of the patchouli becomes more noticeable and the bitterness of the citrus plays in to create not the usual chypre but something far more unique and fine-tuned. Once Giorgio Armani Eau Pour Homme EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, musky, mossy and green fragrance with spicy, woody and soft floral accords. Perfect for day, it evokes the Italian heat, but is also classy enough for nighttime, though in an intimate low light setting like a dinner, I would opt for something smoother.

In his notes, we can initially highlight fresh and citrus notes such as bergamot, mandarin and basil, which settle gently on the skin to make way clearly spiced nuances that slowland combine with patchouli, oakmoss and sandalwood, virile notes and woody. I wish Armani never discontinued this cologne I would give this an 11/10 if I could, have not been able to find a replacement of something similar. It's classy, sophisticated, cool, player like, clean, manly, WELL PUT TOGETHER, without being stuffy and old. Given it's an Armani, it is surprising that the quality of materials is highly questionable - when contrasted with other compositions from their range. This citrus aromatic classic is a masterful example of the marriage of freshness with masculinity and also of delicacy with depth.

This, along with a number of 60's, 70's and 80's perfumes, has suffered greatly from the removal of Natural Oakmoss and HQ synth Sandalwood. This is one of the first few fragrances my dad owns and thanks to him, Armani pour Homme is absolutely lemony delicious to me.In about a couple of hours the invigorating spice bonfire quietly excuses itself and a deeper and darker mystery unfolds itself.

Is similar in style to Eau Sauvage of Dior, Acqua di Parma Essenza and Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme, fragrances that I love too. You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace. Its a nice enough fragrance but smelling it makes me crave for something much fresher, something like Armani's 1996 masterpiece, Acqua di Gio.This is one scent you will love to surround yourself with, I highly recommend trying these products if you are as infatuated with the scent as much as I am.

Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product. It's like an aromatic summer breeze in an Italian citrus grove, but it's not boring - there's more to it. A more traditional blend of cedarwood, vetiver, oakmoss, sandalwood and patchouli was suggested for the base note. However, Armani's offering seems to have a touch more testosterone added to the formula perhaps reflecting the powerhouse olfactory zeitgeist of the 80's as perhaps best represented by YSL's Kouros (1981) or Chanel's Antaeus (1981).If Armani creators boost it a little bit to make it in a higher concentration, it will be (easily) THE best male fragrance of all time ! But on the other hand, being an aromatic chypre which keeps the citrus going for an incredibly long time, EpH is a technical marvel. My father had a bottle of this and would wear it quite regularly and it reminds me a lot of him from the early 90s. I wore it at the time and it was fantastic for its outfit for an eau de toilette, very original with a lemon that stood out with its contemporaries.
